Bang Bang Izakaya Bar!

Hi GUYS! It’s been raining lately in Sydney even though it is Summer!

I am really excited today because I just have a simple dinner with my friends and couple drinks in one Izakaya Bar in Sydney that just opened a couple months ago. 

YES! BANG BANG! or バンバン!

It is an Japanese Izakaya Bar in Haymarket Sydney (Shop/14 Steam Mill Lane, Haymarket NSW 2000). Bang Bang has a japanese street food interior concept, serving a tapas style food, and of course with beer / alchohol drinks. There are so many different kind of hot food, sushi roll style, and of course sashimi.

Bang Bang operation time will be :

Mon – Wed       : 12.00 – 2.30 PM & 5.30 – 10.00 PM
Thurs – Fri       : 12.00 – 2.30 PM & 3.30 – 10.00 PM
Sat                     : 12.00 – 3.00 PM & 4.00 – 10.00 PM
Sun                    : 12.00 – 4.00 PM

I really recommend to make a reservation for dinner time during weekend because it might full and you need to wait for a long time.

When we step inside 1st time there will be a long table near the entrance that looks similar to a street ramen shop that many of you might have seen it in film or anime :D.

Because this restaurant is a tapas style, It is a really good place for you guys that loves to drink and share meal together with your friends. As for the food itself they serve a really good quality of sashimi!

It’s a super fresh sashimi platter on ice with a homemade sashimi tsuyu that match perfectly with the sashimi. For the oyster itself they serve it with a different sauce as well! A beautiful platter for eyes and delicious!

YUP! For you guys that love to do karaoke! BANG BANG has a karaoke room that you can book and use during your visit in here.

Marinated fried chicken wing might not popular in your hometown, however chicken wing is one of the most popular street food in Japan!

With a homemade sauce for this V shaped Chicken Wing, this will be your best chicken wing in Sydney! and don’t worry that your hand will be dirty because you will get a pairs of glove to eat this chicken wing!

At last but not least! Bang Bang is not an indoor place only but they also has outside table so for you guys that enjoy sitting outside and of course while drinking this place will be perfect for that.
